- 2 pounds fresh carrots
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (for sprinkling near the end)
How to Make Brown Sugar Honey Glazed Carrots

Step One: Prep the Smoker or Oven
Preheat to 350°F.
Step Two: Prep the Carrots
- Wash and lightly peel
- Slice into pieces roughly 2″ long x 1/2″ thick
- Rinse and pat dry
- Place in a mixing bowl


Step Three: Make the Glaze
- Melt the butter in the microwave
- Stir in the honey until smooth
- Pour over the carrots
- Add salt and pepper
- Toss well to coat



Step Four: Cook Covered
- Transfer carrots to a baking dish
- Cover tightly with foil
- Place on smoker
- Cook 30 minutes
- Lift foil, stir, replace foil
- Cook another 30 minutes (carrots should be starting to soften)



Step Five: Add Brown Sugar + Finish Uncovered
- Remove foil entirely
- Sprinkle carrots generously with brown sugar
- Cook uncovered 10–15 minutes, until fork tender and glossy
