“Dust off yer lawn chairs, grab yer favorite slab of meat, and let’s get this shindig started! Here’s what we’ve got in store for y’all…”

Okay, okay. . .so it doesn’t have to be that down-home. But you get the idea. Make sure they know this isn’t a fancy event.
